ScrapFit's Challenge

Workout #44 - Stand By Your Man

We all have at least one man in our lives that we love! So lets dedicate this challenge to him! Don’t be afraid to think out side box with this. I am sure your husband/boyfriend , father and son quickly come to mind but maybe there is another man who is dear to you like Tim Holtz or Brad Pit??? Have fun with this but be sure to make this a ‘mans’ layout so give it a manly/rough/rugged look and feel.

This layout that i have done was taught at a retreat and i thought it was very manly and grungy looking and matched perfectly. My original layout i had for this challenge has been picked up by Scrapbooking Memories.

There is two great sponsors for this month as prizes....

A New Month.....

Well its May already.....can you believe it....where is the year going...???
We have had a busy last week...i have been working heaps and with school going back, all the sports have started and its been rather hectic....
Also we had our Festival of the FALLING Leaf in Tumut...so many visitors come to tumut for this wonderful and exciting weekend...

It started with the Fun Run which Emma did run with her dad and Kayley and Bridget walked with a friend as i had to work...Emma won the Under 10's race while Kayley came 4th and Bridget came in when she did...LOL....

My present to my mum for mothers day was a Helicopter ride over tumut....she loved it and wanted one for next year already...we also got one for Andrews mum but she wasn't as excited as my mum having been in one already....

Here are some pics of the girls in the parade:

We then had a get together at our house with friends. There were 12 kids and 14 adults...i decided we would get pizza and its the best decision i made...everybody liked the idea cause it was quick and easy and no cooking by US, so we could relax and have a few drinks - which we certainly did for Friday and Sat night until 2am...(i'm still catching up on my sleep....LOL

We even celebrated the Royal Wedding in STYLE....LOL....

Well i have a couple of layouts to share....

First being...

The Scrappiest #118
