Hello on this Hot Day....

Just finished work and started early to beat the heat....best thing now is sitting up with aircon on...lol.

Today i want to share a layout with you. It is based on the challenge over at Sketches with a Twist....
You know me....i can't resist a good colourful and fun layout....

And i found some bright funky and colourful buttons from Purple Pumpkin were a perfect match for my layout.Here are a few close ups:

A Real Joker......

Em is not your average girl.....loves being funky and different while spending alot of time outside and on the go. I never can get a serious photo...always joking around and having fun!!!

So i loved scrapping this photo of Em based on this months sketch at Purple Pumpkin.

And the funky bright buttons and other embellishments are always perfect for my tom-boyish style daughter layouts!

I have been waiting to use this photo of Emma catching her first fish on her fishing rod which got for a birthday present. I love the Ivy vine which i found shopping at D-lishscraps.

My first official layout was to use PLASTIC. So i thought outside the box and used some bread ties which i have stamped on and also some packaging which was wrapped around coconuts delivered to the spermarkets.

Loved this challenge as it made me really think about what i can use and recycle. You can find this challenge and more DT work here.

I nearly forgot. Getting up early to go to work and then having to travel to Wagga with emma for her MRI - i got lost!!!So i beeter share this layout that i created for Anna's CraftCupboard. It features lots of Purple Pumpkin goodies....

A Nice Break....

I felt a bit sorry for this sore looking blog.....

Its been very neglected since our family has been away on holidays up to the Gold Coast. This was our first summer family holiday in 14 yrs. We so enjoyed!!!Two weeks we had so much fun at the theme parks everday, shopping and visiting the Aust Zoo.

So these photos were just some examples of the 2000 photos taken. I know i won't be short of photos to scrap this year!!!!

Scrapmatts Farwell and More.....

Well the time has come for me to step down and move on. The last 2 yrs have been exciting, inspirational and challenging. Thankyou Sof and Andrew for "giving me a go"! One of the highlights during my time on Scrapmatts, was actually meeting you both along with other DT members as well. I so love to see smiling faces and enjoy each and everyone's company. To me this is FAMILY!!!! - Not just scrapping all the time...

So going out in MY style(you might all miss the bright and funky style!!!LOL)
