A Little Busy....

A little busy is an understatement!

The kids have been on school holidays and all i have done is work the whole time. This time of the year here in tumut is very busy with the Festival of the Falling Leaf.Its just 2 weeks of activities. The girls will be marching with the town band in our street parade- they always look forward to this day of the year.

So now to show you a few creations....

For this challenge i decided to go a bit girlie....

I have used Purple Pumpkin, D-lishscraps embellishments and Memory Maze Chipboard.

It was a sad day on the 31st March....my time was up as a DT on Purple Pumpkin. Thankyou Sam for giving me the opportunity to create with such wonderful embellishments.....I encourage you all to apply when another DT call arises...you will have so much fun(and product) to create masterpieces. I have been lucky to have had a few layouts published in mags that feature Purple Pumpkin.

Well...

i think i have finally caught up now. Slack i know but i swear my kids have a better social life than ME!! LOL

Today i wanted to share a layout that i created for the 123 Challenge.
I was a former DT and i loved the concept for scrapping. So when Mel stepped in and helped out to bring it back, i thought that giving it a go again is the best to get my Mojo flowing.

So this moths challenge was:

1 Colour_Black
2 Word-Year
3 Technique- Twine circles

So with all that in mind, this is what i came up with:



On my layout i have included some chippy from Memory Maze. Their product is so easy and great to use. The new Barbed wire is great for all types of projects.



Well .....
I better go get organised to go and watch my daughter Horseriding.

Reveal at STUCK

The latest sketch is up at STUCK.

I had some left over paint from another creation. So instead of wasting it, i grabbed a piece of white cardstock and just plastered it everywhere in the hope i may use it for another layout. Well i did....



Lots of Purple Pumpkin goodies in this one too!!!

Hello...

Today i would like to quickly share a layout that i completed for a challenge site which i find very challenging and enjoyable....Scrap Your Story Challenges.

And guess what!!

I got into the Top 3 for last week....so thankyouxx


So this weeks challenge is based on a Theme:

ANIMALS!! There are lots of ways to interpret that as you'll see from our designers. You can scrap photos of a trip to a zoo, a farm, your pets even people in animal costumes. You can just tuck a little animal embellishment in somewhere or cover your page with a menagerie of creatures...as long as we can see an animal on your layout somewhere ... you're golden! :)

I don't have any pet photos as we only own a bird and he is very hard to photograph. So i have used the idea as using animal embellishments. So i took a photo of BRidget which was taken on our last holidays. So my background pattern paper has butterflies and i have used Hambly Butterflies all over my layout.
