PERFECT National Scrapbook Day
1. Early to bed and early to rise for the week leading up, nothing like added energy to get through the weekend!
2. Don't worry about the family - Have the hubby take the kids for the day which includes:
All kids sports whether it be a practice, game or both, birthday parties and the afternoon spent at McDonalds - then there is no need for dinner.
3. Hubby then continues into the wee hours of the evening, including bathing the kids or at least organising sleepovers for all the kids.
4. For those of you without kids - sending your hubby away for the weekend of fishing, camping or a favourite sports event is genius
All in who agree say YES!!! YES!!!! YES!!!!

You look wonderful
Bridget discovered a LO today that i scrapped of her with the same pair of sunnies as these in this pic....so we had to do a photo shoot.......
Emma wanted to run in our local Fun Run on Sunday- a 5km run to be exact! Well her dad braved the elements (rainning, wet and cold conditions) to run along beside Emma- they both completed the course in 34 min- pretty good i reckon for a 7 yr old!

Uproar CC
I think everyone had a wonderful time..i was overwhelmed with the response for my challenge that i set. Lisa and Amanda did an amazing job...well done...i wasn't about much having been stuck in bed most of the time with the flu plus Bridget was burnt on Sat night with our heater that we lite because of the cold weather....not that i'm complaining with the rain....But here is my OTP example for the CC...i got the pattern from a friend and i liked it so much that i wanted to make it...thanks Jas

Cousins Wedding
I had my cousins wedding on in Griffith over the weekend plus a 30th and a 40th as well - talk about everything on at once and in all different places - BUT we managed to go to them all- surprise surprise....Finally had all my cousins together too! It was a very low key wedding, only about 60 guests, and they had no bridesmaids or groomsmen....the reception was just pizza and pasta...very simple but beautiful......
