Special Time....
With the devastating floods in queensland, my heart goes out to all those who have been hit hard by the floods and i hope all of you are safe and well...Through this week i have been at home and not much has been happening at work....i know spending time with my 3 girls makes you appreciate life and loved ones....so i have been scrapping but most i can't show as they are layouts for the upcoming months...trying to get organised.....while work isn't busy ....i'm scrapping!!

Jan KIU Challenge
Create a layout based on the theme SUMMER and you must also use a SUMMER word in your title, using Kraft cardstock as your base...

Well it’s time to start looking for a few design team member’s to help compliment The Polkadot Place so if you would like to join my team and work with LIL old me in promoting my kit club adventure I would like to see your work
Please email me three pages and one off the page, this could be anything such as a card, a mini album etc its up to you
You need to have a blog, be confident in your self to set challenges on the blog, if you have an idea as to how to put a sketch together that would be an added bonus but is not essential, as i may call on you to provide a few sketches.
Your pieces need to showcase your best work, I am looking for techniques, the way you coordinate your colours together and also placement and design of your LO’s
Please provide your postage address, your blog address and a bit of information about yourself, such as how long you have been scrapping what got you started, what gets you motivated to scrap, your family life and who else you design for? Please do not apply if you are already a design team member for another kit club

Scrap the Girls January Entry....
Happy new year everyone!!
Here is our very first challenge for 2011....

My memory is watching Bridget on the beach just doing her own thing and not even worrying about what her sisters are up too....something i used to do while visiting the beach as a child.

Dec 5th- Scrapmatts
Well today is my day to load up my creations using the Scrapmatts sent to me from Sofie and Andrew

Just love this time of the year to scrap all those summery layouts. I left the Scrapmatts chipboard raw because i feel it matches the look of the sand.

As soon as i looked at my big wheel , i knew then that i wanted to make an OTP.Had alot of fun with this one!

I started by painting my background with 2 colours for the scenery and then overlapped the wheel slightly over the edge of my canvas. I then added the Scrapmatts shells and other embellishments
Thanks for some really great Scrapmatts chipboard...it made it easy to work with when you are so excited about the product!

Busy and Interesting days......
Friends Come Stay....
The girls were so excited when my girlfriend came to stay with hubby and son...we actually had a little boy in the house.....very different...now the girls want a baby brother!!!!!

I'm a new ScrapFIT girl!!!!!Very excited to be among these talented bunch of scrappers.
ScrapFIT is another challenge blog that gives two "workouts" a month. With each workout there is a sponsor that has donated an awesome prize! The "Workout Challenges" are posted on the 1st and 15th of the month, and anyone can participate! I can't believe I made this team...it's going to be SO much fun!! Workout #35 is all about using what you have!!! So let’s use those scraps! For this challenge you must use only scraps!!! Pick a piece of card stock to start with and than grab those scraps. Let’s even make some embellishments using our scraps! You also need to dig through your left over alphabets to create a mixed alphabet title.
