My Scrappy Day inside out of the Rain.........
The CC looked good and interesting on Chookscraps so i decided to have a go at a couple of challenges
Challenge 1
This challenge has been inspired by the Ocean's 11, 12, and 13 franchise, but don't panic girls, you don't need to do 11, 12, of 13 of anything
The criteria for this challenge are:-
1 The plans within these movies are always extremely complicated and convoluted. Include at least 4 layers on your LO in some way.
2 The team always have loads of gadgets, guns and getaway cars. Include something metallic, either made of metal or metallic colouring
3 Ocean's 11 is set in Vegas, full of bright lights, sleek suits, and shiny money Use something sleek and shiny on your page - think dimensional magic, diamond glaze, satin fabric, glimmer glaze, foilboard, tin foil etc
4 Include a playing card or bingo card on your LO
here is my layout:
As you can see i have used the gorgeous Scrapmatts wings on my layout...
Challenge 3
This month challenge three is a sketch courtesy of Lorraine.
and here is my layout:
Again i have used the beautiful Scrapmatts
on my layout.....
Well...i might have to scrap some more today......

Chook Scraps Nest
I may have mentioned this in a previous post but i am completing the Amazing Race challenge at Chook's....i did miss the cut off and was asked to join in but i feel this is not the right thing to do from the middle of the comp.....BUT....i love a challenge...so i'm challenging myself....
Round 2-New Zealand
-The All Blacks are New Zealand's famous rugby team. In honour of them you need to use black cardstock as the base for your page
- New Zealand is well known for it's flightless birds - the now extinct Moa and the Kiwi. We are asking that you have a bird as a feature on your page (by feature it means it can't be a little tucked away bird but obvious)
- And of course we can't forget New Zealand's indigenous people the Maoris. Use the Maori face mask below as inspiration for some doodling on your page.
Round 3- North America
- red & white (some black allowed)
- at least one leaf (for the maple leaf)
- tearing for the jagged mountains
Had alot of fun challenging myself...can't wait to get stuck into the next challenge......

ScrapFit's Challenge
Workout #44 - Stand By Your Man
We all have at least one man in our lives that we love! So lets dedicate this challenge to him! Don’t be afraid to think out side box with this. I am sure your husband/boyfriend , father and son quickly come to mind but maybe there is another man who is dear to you like Tim Holtz or Brad Pit??? Have fun with this but be sure to make this a ‘mans’ layout so give it a manly/rough/rugged look and feel.
This layout that i have done was taught at a retreat and i thought it was very manly and grungy looking and matched perfectly. My original layout i had for this challenge has been picked up by Scrapbooking Memories.
There is two great sponsors for this month as prizes....
