Close to My Heart

This month we are celebrating women/girls who bring that 'special something' to our lives at Scrapmatts. Well i think my mum has been so inspirational and taught me to value those around me and life itself...

And secondly, as a parent, my girls have been a HUGE part of my life...the growing, learning and teaching during day to day experiences. Whether or not they listen now, they will in turn be a mother one day themselves and know all the happenings that go along with being a mum as i have with my beautiful mother.

This is not normally my style of scrapping, but i thought it worthy of scrapping my mum to match the era of the photo taken...

I actually cut the topiaries because i loved the design of the hearts but didn't need the bases.

The new micro chippies are to die for and the stands for them are just soooo perfect.

I thought i would be a bit creative with my last layout.

This frame was perfect and a great shape for my photo of Kayley. I wanted to make it look like she is leaning over the frame - i think i achieved this...plus i left it raw to match the kraft background.
